Scientific
research has proven repeatedly that even a regular healthy diet, does
not provide a sufficient supply of nutrients to last through the day
and satisfy the body’s daily nutritional requirement.
Our moms
told us to eat our vitamins, when we were kids, and ever since, it
seemed like an additional chore, we never really wanted to do.
Perhaps, that is why energy drinks are becoming more popular. They
taste better, feel cooler, and are more convenient on several
grounds.
But
there’s another reason why drinks are increasingly becoming more
popular than pills, tablets, and soft gels. Energy drinks target the
younger lot of the consumer base. This lot is conscious about the way
they look, and how their body looks. From a marketing standpoint,
there is much wider scope to promote energy drinks among the masses.
Not just
conventional energy drinks, makers of other drinks like iced tea or
packed juices know that the best way to market their products by
increasing its nutritional value, and placing that fact in the center
of its promotional campaign.
Siting a
recent example in this context, RealBeanz, a ready-to-drink, iced
coffee claims to be packed with the goodness of natural nutrients is
already working on the promotional work for the product. In fact, it
has hired one of the most prominent PR firms in New York, 5W public
relations. Given the impressive past record of 5W, it will be very
interesting to see the kind of success, RealBeanz and 5W achieve in
this joint venture, and how he consumers react to beverage that
promises to be nutritionally fulfilling.
